Notice of Anti-Harassment Policies

The Sauk Prairie School District is committed to having an educational and employment environment which is free from all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment. This commitment applies to all District operations, programs, and activities. Students, administrators, teachers, staff, and all school personnel should avoid, discourage, and report any incident of harassment. This applies to conduct on school property, at other locations during school-sponsored activities and in any setting over which the Board exercises control.

The Board of Education will not tolerate any form of harassment and will take all necessary and appropriate action to eliminate harassment, including suspending or firing employees, suspending or expelling students and taking disciplinary action against any other individual in the School District community.

The Board will vigorously enforce the prohibition against harassment based on sex (including transgender status, change of sex, or gender identity), race, color, national origin, religion, creed, ancestry, marital or parental status, sexual orientation or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability, or any other characteristic protected by Federal or State civil rights laws.

The Board strongly encourages those within the School District community who believe they have been the victim of harassment to file a complaint with the District.
